New recruits, welcome to the Varangian Guard! Below is the recruitment process that you must go through to get into the guild. If all you are looking for is to raid with us, remember you can still raid with us if you aren't a guildie. The guild is seperate from the raids. The process can be broken down into 3 steps, which are shown below.
1. The recruit posts his/her application in the forums, and I will put it in the members section for a voting period. I will put the poll up for a 2 week period. If after those 2 weeks are up, and the person has not recieved 3 Yes votes, and 0 No votes (with an explanation of course), then the application will be denied. The recruit can reapply after this. Do not ask how many votes you have, you will be told when you have the required number of votes.
2. Once the recruit has 3 Yes votes, it will show the guild that they are actively trying to get into TVG, and they will go on to the next step of the process. I (or another member who may want to help) will contact the applicant and explain this step to them once I see that they have 3 votes.
3. After the recruit gets passed step 2, they will be placed within a group/raid of mostly or all vg members. This can be a raid, regular group, whatever, but what they run depends mostly on their level. This step is to see if they are fun to be around in a long instance, and it gives them some experience with the guild as well before actually being accepted. If the recruit gets denied after this point, it would probably be because they made a very big mistake and or ninjaed something, and they will be denied much forever.
After those 3 steps are done, they will then recieve an invite to vg. Thankyou for your time. Good luck!
